Tampa Crossroads, a non-profit that includes resident and non-resident treatment programs, just received Federal funding to implement a Female Veteran and Veterans with Families Homeless Veteran Reintegration Program.
Called the “Veteran’s Employment Network Program,” this program is the agency’s newest Veteran-specific endeavor, and is part of the existing ATHENA Program, which offers the only transitional housing in Florida specifically designed to address the unique needs of homeless female Veterans. Tampa Crossroads also offers a counseling program, which is free of charge to both active and inactive military personnel, including Veterans of all wars.
The program is offered to homeless female Veterans, both with and without children, as well as to male Veterans with children. Tampa Crossroads can help with counseling, case management, supportive services and referrals, classroom training, short-term vocational training, and job placement.
