VA Seeks Input on Wartime Toxic Exposures

Veterans Encouraged to Submit Comments on Iraq and Afghanistan Burn Pits and Gulf War Toxins

Are you a Veteran who deployed to the Gulf War, Afghanistan War, or the Iraq War and are concerned about medical care and disability benefits for health conditions potentially related to wartime toxic exposures?

If your answer is yes, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) is working on a new Airborne Hazards and Open Burn Pit Registry that will include a web-based questionnaire where you will be able to report health concerns, exposures, and more.

You may submit comments about VA’s proposal online through August 5, 2013. Go to the Federal Register notice to learn more about the registry and how to comment. The public is also invited to comment on this issue.
