
July 25th is National Hire a Veteran Day, created in 2017 by Dan Caporale.
The goal is to inspire companies to hire the unique skills of former service members. As well as encourage the estimated 200,000 transitioning service members to seek a job outside the military each year.
Reasons to Hire a Veteran
Each Veteran has a unique experience during their time in the military. These different experiences come with many benefits for civilian jobs once they transition out of service. Here is a short list of some of the many skills Veterans have:
