Brothers Guard Tomb of the Unknown Soldier for the First Time

Army Spc. Mathew Brisiel recently joined his brother, Staff Sgt. Jonathan Brisiel, in the rarest honor in the Army, to serve as a sentinel guarding the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier at Arlington National Cementery.  Staff Sgt. Brisiel has served at Arlington for 3 years.  Army Spc. Brisiel became the 578th soldier to receive this honor since 1958.  There are only 15 active sentinels who guard the tomb 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – no matter what the weather brings.
